"We were there during the Nor’easter so couldn’t use the private beach. The hotel is not a luxury resort, but it is a clean, well kept , solid hotel at an amazing price."

The rooms were clean and well maintained, however the beds could use a real blanket, not two top sheets. The property needs cleaning, there’s ALOT of trash on property. The cleaning ladies also toss trash bags down to the garden beds when cleaning. We saw for two days the trash be outside which resulted in roaches being around. I will say the location, price, beach access, friendliness of the owners, complimentary breakfast makes this a good place to stay."

"This is a very nice hotel. It’s smells so nice and clean when you enter. Pretty lobby with tropical fish tanks. Front staff very welcoming and friendly. Our room was great, everything nice and clean. They have a little bar and restaurant on site. We ate there and it was very good, and the waitress was very nice. We did not swim, but there is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool with Jacuzzi. This hotel is right on the beach and they even have a pier right there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a nice place in a great location close to stores and an easy hop onto the main highway that goes up and down the Outer Banks."
